The Philippine Chemistry Congress (PCC) is the annual conference of chemists in the Philippines. First held in 1984, the PCC has since served as one of the biggest gatherings of chemists and researchers from academe, industry, government and other sectors, where new knowledge in chemistry and allied fields are brought to the forefront.

The 35th Philippine Chemistry Congress is organized by the Philippine Federation of Chemistry Societies (PFCS). For the first time in its history, the PCC is going to be held virtually allowing chemists, chemical technicians, and S&T professionals with an Internet connection from all over the country/world to come together and build back better through chemistry.

The decade of the 2020s will likely be a crucial turning point for society. This decade began with the COVID-19 pandemic, which is devastating the global economy and exposing numerous weaknesses in our healthcare. At the same time, climate change and loss of biodiversity continue to accelerate, and plastic pollution remains unsolved. These are among the challenges of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
